Meet Mr. Giggles, our Ayam Ketawa rooster with a crow that sounds like a belly laugh. Hatched here on May 24, 2026, he’s been bringing plenty of personality to the flock.

Mr. Giggles’ journey began in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, where his egg was laid before making its way to our farm in Louisiana. On May 24, 2026, he hatched right here at Egg-cellent Feathered Farm, and little did we know we were welcoming a future comedian!
Mr. Giggles isn’t your ordinary backyard rooster. As a Laughing Rooster, also known as Ayam Ketawa, he’s part of a unique breed originating from Indonesia, famous for its unusual crow that sounds remarkably like human laughter.
While other roosters greet the morning with a traditional “cock-a-doodle-doo,” Mr. Giggles prefers to start his day with what sounds like a good belly laugh!
Born and raised right here on our farm, Mr. Giggles has become a feathered entertainer with a personality as memorable as his voice. Whether he’s greeting the sunrise, showing off for the flock, or simply having a good laugh at something only he understands, he reminds us that farm life is never boring.
“Why cock-a-doodle-doo when you can laugh instead?”
Mr. Giggles is living proof that some of the best entertainment on the farm comes with feathers, two feet, and a laugh you won’t forget!
